@kyleworley Deadlifts - How your PR directly relates to your preaching ability (?)
English

Pastors, church workers, ministry leaders - we need your input...
Working on a chapter for the book I am writing w/ my dad on ministry leadership (ML) that thrives beyond 5 years.
In the chapter on intentionality - we say a ML needs to answer these four questions:
Design: What am I made to do?
Delight: What do I want to do?
Duty: What must I do?
Direction: What do I do next?
(FYI: A chapter on calling precedes this chapter.)
What are we missing here? Extra points if you can make it a "D" word.
English

@kyleworley @KnowingFaithPod You say jiu jitsu.. I say CrossFit. We both give firm handshakes and head nods.
Awesome stuff though, and I totally agree.
English

Ive talked about this a little on @KnowingFaithPod and honestly I feel a little hokey talking about it:
1.5 years ago I started training jiu jitsu and I think it’s been one of the best things for my physical and mental health.
(And I think every pastor should try it…)
Why?

@Ineverglow Last Tuesday used to be such a jam! Definitely underrated in terms of the pop-punk Christian scene.
English

I miss good Christian music festivals
The Long Defeat@TheLongDefeat87
Oh, man. Looking back at this, I didn't fully grasp how great that main stage lineup was. My word.

@ronniejmartin @edstetzer @EliManning @PeytonnManning @EricGeiger Paging @HappyRantPod and @BarnabasPiper
Wait til he hears about Archie…
English

@edstetzer @EliManning @PeytonnManning @EricGeiger Yeah, didn’t know that either, Ed. Foosball, right?
English

@JBay_AllTheWay @crowdermusic My bracket had DC*B going all the way 🙃
English

@Ineverglow As great as PoD is/was ntb has had a pretty prolific catalogue. They're up there with the most albums that just don't miss.
English

Here's how I would vote/fill out my bracket. mwY is probably my favorite band, but it felt weird having them go all the way. Now excuse me while I go jam Church Music for a while.

@Ineverglow @JBay_AllTheWay mewithoutYou vs Norma Jean AND NF vs Lecrae in the first round?! Brutal 😩
English

@Ineverglow 4/5. This album always felt as close to “actual screamo” as the Tooth and Nail scene got. Another album that I thought was pretty underrated.
English

@Ineverglow I was saved at a Staple concert when they were touring that album, it holds a really special place in my heart. Definitely an underrated group.
English

@AndythePainter7 Sure, but we live in a time when the Spirit is poured out upon God's people and the Gospel call is "to the ends of the world" (Acts 1:8), right?
English

@KristofKatz Did the masses go out to seek Jesus when he was on the earth, or stay in their local synagogues to pray? Sometimes the action of going is an exercise of faith in what you’ll encounter there.
English

@bensmith832 Oh yeah? I recognize my ignorance in the history of revivals, which is why I was curious. Any good resources I could look in to regarding it?
English

@KristofKatz That is what happened before in the old Asbury revival. Students went out all over the nation to testify
English

@PastorBenMarsh In reality people do not eat the actual food pyramid, they just look at the bottom and get angry because the current diet culture keeps selling the lie that carbs are evil. Not to defend the food pyramid, but those who vilify a macronutrient as if it’s that easy are just as wrong
