@chefwamp @OfTheTrees duck buddy is great i love the interface built into your processing chain (m4l things) & it does a great job with taming clicks. I just always have problems with the side chain source resetting to a random channel input when I load a saved project. delete/re-dl is prolly the fix

@Kromuh @OfTheTrees Have you tried M4L Duck Buddy? I really like how simple the interface is and it does everything you described I’m pretty sure.

sidechain compression is honestly dead to me after listening to these mixdowns. volume shaping is the only way for me. 🔥

@OfTheTrees Imo it’s a more intuitive version of gatekeeper

@OfTheTrees After using every volume shaper / compressor under the sun the smoothest one for me has been Devious Machines - Duck. Easy to use, excellent smoothing, signal can be set in the side chain drop-down of the plugin. Does both midi and audio as an input & can be on any channel
