Rack up ₦2M in loans. Graduate into a ₦150K job (if you’re even lucky in this economy). Now you’re tied down, paying back every month for over a decade. Eleven years of your life, committed before you even figure yourself out. And if life happens? If jobs don’t come? If reality hits harder than the policy paper imagined? What exactly is the penalty for falling behind? Because in this country, we’ve seen how quickly “support” turns into pressure… and pressure turns into punishment.
