In a&e with a toddler who’s breathing stats are poor and a temp nearing 40 But it’s an 8 hour wait to see a doctor So I’m sat in a room that’s boiling hot no ventilation with 20 odd other sick children and they won’t let us go home! 🤯😡

@SarahS447 Awful cough 4 nights of no sleep sat up with him Our gp was brilliant though straight on anti biotics so here’s hoping for improvement soon x

@Kryskayella Has he got a cough?? Maisy had a fever above 40 for 5 days!! I was told its just viral over and over, maybe initially the cough was but turned to a chest infection and she has an ear infection too. Never seen her so poorly! Hope littlun is better asap 🙏 we were treated like 💩

@Brett_Dakin it was the fact that I was sat on the floor with a poorly toddler next to a bin that hadn’t been emptied, there where children vomiting and screaming constantly, the room was way too hot Was not a nice environment for anyone there Saw my gp quicker than a&e doctor could see us

@Kryskayella I can't help with the timescale but 99% of all hospitals have ill people in, Hope all goes well.
