This feels mid? Haven't had a chance to actually play with the new cards yet, but these changes feel like they're basically gonna do nothing.

@modalife_gp On the 1 hand they absolutely should, on the other name a deck in the top 5 of the current format that can't deal with a bagooska. It's just not a priority.

why is bagooska still legal in tcg

With the recent clarification from Rin as to why he made the decision to change up their look, our opinion remains the same. It's awesome that they have a design they are more comfortable with, and that's more important than any aesthetic. But we still don't care much for it.

We dislike Rin's new design. Its not a bad design, its competently done, the colors are nice, and the expresions are fun. But its so... generic looking? Like, we're worried im going to see a video of his and not know its him, click off none the wiser and never see them again.

TL;DR Rin is aware that people are upset by the drastic change. Says they’re allowed to be upset, and that he isn’t immune to criticism and discussion just because he spent money. He just wanted to do something different. He also clarifies that the original model, as iconic as it was, was rushed. That trying to get in contact with the original artist to refresh it without corpo support and funds was extremely difficult. But also above all… it had been three years. He was ready for a change. The gender ambiguity in the first place was in part about proving you could be successful in a corpo without fitting a specific archetypal box. Which he accomplished. But the new model isn’t necessarily “feminine” now. And he hopes people will come around on appreciating it, even if not everyone will be a fan.

And even if she does graduate, good for her, she had a stupidly good run literally everyone dreams of having. Give it about a year and she'd be back reincarnated as an indie, which would probably be way better for her creativity, though that's just speculation.

Seeing folks freak out about Calliope Mori going on indefinite hiatus feels weirdly familiar. Almost like this happened the last time she did this many projects one after another and had to take an almost 6 month break. We also got a killer 😈🎲 album out of it last time.

@galzoTCG It kinda made sense at the time, flipping either of them when tear didn't have backrow removal was essentially a game ender, but it didn't feel good to do, even if tear was/is the worst deck to play against. They however can now safely go back to 1 pls.

remember when tearlaments was nearing its peak so konami thought it was a good idea to combat that by unlimiting fissure and cosmos and 4 years later we're still paying for it?

There should be a generic name for cards you want to use in a deck because they seem super fun to try out, offer unique gameplay, but you never would because they suck.
