No it isn't. A simple Google search about Adverse Possession would have proven otherwise. Maybe it doesn't apply to every state but it is a thing. It's one of the justifications squatters use to avoid evictions. Not successfully, but it is used to delay the eviction. This also applies to property.

@moveon_9910 Check your state's laws. There's a thing called Adverse Possession. Meaning if you say or do nothing about the encroachment, after a set period of time, (check your state) your neighbor would legally own the 7 inches he or she is encroaching onto your land.

Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents.
