@TylerGlaiel I turned that feature completely off. As a sound designer, it was constantly trying to do that and made it impossible to work.

@TimNielsen Don’t spend too much time polishing the perfect sound before getting it hooked up in game and working correctly. The sound may be awesome but totally does not work in context of everything else.

@TimNielsen Great tips Tim. And nice to have validation on some of these that I already believe (like more is not always better) but sometimes can still get caught up in feeling like I need to do more processing even though it sounds good with the minimal.

@TylerGlaiel I use LibreOffice Calc for anything I just need locally. Not sure if it has all the same capabilities as MS Office, but to me it's the same (and free)

also fuck microsoft excel, its a fucking .csv file full of text strings stop trying to interpret the cells as math equations like fucking god damn

Today is my last day at 343/Microsoft. I have really enjoyed 13+ year journey here. The people and culture here has been amazing and I have learned a ton. Monday is a new journey for me and I am excited to put myself out there.
