My dear brother Heval Salih Muslim was an inspirational revolutionary and a monumental figure.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, as well as the Kurdish people in northeast Syria (Rojava) and to all Kurds everywhere.
Heval Salih Muslim never tired in the pursuit of the just cause of the Kurdish people. He always said that Kurds must stand united and speak with one voice. He believed in the struggle for freedom and the importance of civil resistance.
The passing of Heval Salih Muslim is a great loss but we are confident that his revolutionary ideas will never be forgotten.
May his soul rest in peace.

It is with great sadness that this evening we received the news of the passing of prominent Kurdish leader Saleh Muslim, a longtime advocate for peace, democracy, and pluralism in Rojava, Syria, and across the Middle East.
His tireless efforts to promote dialogue, coexistence, and the democratic aspirations of the Kurdish people leave a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire many.

Today, five Kurdish political parties announced, in a joint statement, the formation of the “Coalition of Political Forces of Iranian Kurdistan.” The establishment of this coalition is an important development in the political landscape of both #Kurdistan and #Iran and is expected to have a tangible impact on the country’s political dynamics.
According to its founding statement, the coalition has been formed around the goals of overthrowing the Islamic Republic and realising the right of self-determination of the Kurdish nation within a pluralistic and democratic Iran.
The statement emphasises “the necessity of coordination and joint political and on-the-ground struggle among the parties and civil organisations of Iranian Kurdistan, as well as with political and civil organisations in other parts of Iran.” It also stresses the signatories' commitment to the environmental protection, equality of men and women, free elections and democratic self-administration.

امروز پنج حزب و سازمان سیاسی کوردستانی طی بیانیهای تشکیل «ائتلاف نیروهای سیاسی کوردستان ایران» را اعلام کردند. تشکیل این ائتلاف تحول مهمی در عرصه سیاسی کوردستان و ایران محسوب میشود و بر معادلات سیاسی در کشور تاثیر انضمامی خواهد داشت. بر اساس بیانیه اعلام موجودیت صادره این ائتلاف حول سرنگونی جمهوری اسلامی، تحقق حق تعیین سرنوشت ملت کورد در ایرانی متکثر و دموکراتیک شکل گرفته است. بیانیه بر «ضرورت هماهنگی و مبارزهی سیاسی و میدانی مشترک میان احزاب و سازمانهای مدنی کوردستان ایران و احزاب و سازمانهای سیاسی و مدنی سایر بخشهای ایران» تأکید میکند. امضاکنندگان همچنین باورمندی خود به حفظ محیطزیست، تامین عدالت اجتماعی، حقوق برابر زنان و مردان، تثبیت انتخابات آزاد، و تضمین حقوق بنیادین همهی تنوعات ملی و مذهبی کوردستان و نهادمند کردن سیستم مدیریتی و دموکراتیک در کوردستان ایران را اعلام کردهاند. متن کامل بیانیه در پایین: *بیانیەی اعلام موجودیت «ائتلاف نیروهای سیاسی کوردستان ایران* مردم مبارز کوردستان! احزاب و جریانهای سیاسی کوردستانی و ایرانی! آزادیخواهان و مبارزان سراسر کشور! جنبش سیاسی و ملی کورد در کوردستان ایران دهههاست به شیوهای سازمانیافته و مستمر و در راستای دستیابی به حقوق ملی و سیاسی خود علیه استبداد و حاکمیت دیکتاتوری مرکزگرا مبارزه میکند. کوردستان پس از انقلاب سال ١٣٥٧ و روی کار آمدن جمهوری اسلامی نیز همواره سنگر و کانون اصلی مبارزه و مقاومت علیه این رژیم سرکوبگر بوده است. کوردستان تاکنون هزینههای هنگفتی برای پایداری و مبارزهی خود پرداخته است؛ جنگ بر آن تحمیل شده، دهها رهبر سیاسی آن اعدام یا ترور شدهاند، هزاران فرزند مبارز و فعال سیاسی در سنگر مبارزە و در رویارویی با نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی بە شهادت رسیدە یا در زندانها جان باختهاند. همچنین کوردستان هموارە چون جغرافیایی اشغالشده، میلیتاریزه شده و با سیاست سرکوب و غارت از سوی حکومت جمهوری اسلامی اداره شده است. ما، احزاب سیاسی امضاکنندهی این «ائتلاف نیروهای سیاسی کوردستان ایران»، با اتکا به تاریخ مبارزه و تلاشهایمان و با توجه به ضرورت پاسخگویی و بازتعریف نقش خود در وضعیت سیاسی کنونی ایران -که در آن رژیم جمهوری اسلامی هیچگونه مشروعیت سیاسی ندارد، اما به دلیل تشتت نیروهای سیاسی مخالف، همچنان پابرجاست- صفوف مبارزاتی خود در کوردستان را متحد کرده و با اعلام ائتلافی سیاسی مبارزات پیگیر خود را ادامە میدهیم. هدف اصلی این ائتلاف، که پس از مرحلهای از تبادل نظر و کار میدانی در «مرکز دیالوگ برای همکاری» شکل گرفته است، اتحاد و مبارزهی مشترک برای گسترش جنبش سیاسی کورد در ایران، رونقبخشی بیشتر بە نقشکوردستان و جنبش سیاسی آن در مبارزه علیه جمهوری اسلامی، تأمین حقوق و آزادیهای مردم کوردستان و بازطراحی ایران آینده میباشد. اهداف اصلی و مشترک ما در این ائتلاف عبارت است از: مبارزه برای سرنگونی جمهوری اسلامی ایران، تحقق حق تعیین سرنوشت ملت کورد و بنیانگذاری نهادی ملی و دموکراتیک بر اساس ارادهی سیاسی ملت کورد در کوردستان ایران. ما، ضمن پشتیبانی از مبارزه و اعتراضات سراسری ملتهای ایران علیه جمهوری اسلامی، بر ضرورت هماهنگی و مبارزهی سیاسی و میدانی مشترک میان احزاب و سازمانهای مدنی کوردستان ایران و احزاب و سازمانهای سیاسی و مدنی سایر بخشهای ایران تأکید میکنیم. همچنین، ضمن حمایت از شکلگیری مرحلهای گذار دموکراتیک وفراگیر، مبنای هرگونه همکاری و ائتلاف خود با طرفهای دیگر را«بهرسمیت شناختن حقوق ملتها»، «پذیرش دموکراسی» و «رد هرگونهدیکتاتوری» قرار میدهیم. ما در این ائتلاف به حفظ محیطزیست، عدالت اجتماعی، حقوق برابر زنان و مردان، تثبیت انتخابات آزاد، تأمین و تضمین حقوق بنیادین همهی تنوعات ملی و مذهبی کوردستان و نهادمند کردن سیستم مدیریتی و دموکراتیک در کوردستان ایران باور داریم. همزمان، تلاش برای استقرار یک نظام سیاسی دموکراتیک و سکولار در ایران که حقوق ملتها و پیروان مذاهب و ادیان مختلف کشور را تضمین کند، وظیفهی خود میدانیم. ما معتقدیم که در حال حاضر بیش از هر زمان دیگری، وحدت سیاسی و همگفتمانی جریانهای سیاسی و مبارزهی مشترک میدانی آنها، شرط تقویت جایگاه کورد در معادلات سیاسی در حال تغییر ایران است. از این رو، آمادگی خود را برای همکاری با تمامی احزاب و جریانهای سیاسی خارج از این ائتلاف اعلام نموده و همهی مردم کوردستان را برای پیوستن و بازیافتن خود در این ائتلاف فرا میخوانیم. ائتلاف نیروهای سیاسی کوردستان ایران ٣/١٢ / ١٤٠٤ حزب دموکرات کوردستان ایران (حدکا) حزب حیات آزاد کوردستان (پژاک) کوملهی زحمتکشان کوردستان حزب آزادی کوردستان (پاک) سازمان خبات کوردستان ایران #کوردستان #ایران #کردستان #ائتلاف_نیروهای_سیاسی_کوردستان_ایران

Leading UK trade unions have written to Prime Minister Keir Starmer @10DowningStreet expressing serious concern over recent developments in Syria, including attacks on the Kurdish-led SDF and the risks these pose to regional stability.
The letter highlights the SDF’s decisive role in defeating ISIS, warns of the dangers of prisoner releases and renewed extremism, and calls for the protection of Rojava’s democratic institutions, women’s rights, and inclusive political dialogue in any future settlement.

Bit of a soapbox moment, apologies…
I’ve visited al-Hol detention camp where tens of thousands of ISIS inmates were held, guarded by the thin line of the brave forces of the SDF @SDF_Syria
In less than a week the US @USAMBTurkiye Britain and the West have seemingly let a dubiously motivated regime in Damascus run rampant unopposed against a section of Syrian society, the Kurds, whose secular society has more in common with Western democracies than anywhere else in the Middle East, other than Israel @gidonsaar
The jubilant scenes of Isis prisoners welcoming Damascus forces like a liberating army today should send a chill down every spine in the West.
I won’t share the images and footage I have been sent of what Damascus forces have allegedly done to SDF fighters, but there are sickening parallels to the dark days of Islamic State.
This feels like a betrayal of the SDF and the Kurds who fought so bravely against Islamic state alongside British and American forces @LindseyGrahamSC
Time will tell if Damascus will be the same bulwark against extremism as the Kurds have been, I personally have some doubts.
