“If we abandon the Kurds, no one will want to be a US partner force in the future.” — This has been the warning issued by US military servicemembers, security analysts, and experts for years in Washington. It has been heard countless times in official briefings, Congressional hearings, and government meetings. I guess Washington is learning now how true that warning really was. The Trump administration seems to be pressuring the Kurds into a new deal to be its hired guns. Many Kurds clearly don’t want it. “In 1991, the Kurds were encouraged to rise up against the regime of Saddam Hussein, only to be abandoned when priorities changed… More recently, we saw what happened in Northeast Syria, or Rojava. After all the promises that were made, after Syria’s Kurds stood on the front lines of the war against ISIS, we witnessed how they were treated.” — An unequivocal statement from Ms. Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed, First Lady of the Republic of Iraq.

The war waged by America and Israel against the Iranian regime is not our concern, and we will not participate in it. The Kurds do not trust the American administration, but we trust the American people, the @USArmy, and Congress.

A new video documents the moment of dealing with a U.S. F-15 pilot who parachuted into Kuwait this morning after her aircraft was hit by friendly fire, during which she was reassured with the words: “You are safe.” #iranWar

F-15 fighter jet was shot down by friendly fire over Kuwait, and both pilots survived without any injuries. A number of local residents surrounded them, thinking they were Iranians, but once it became clear that they were Americans🇺🇲, they were treated calmly & friendly. #IranWar

America must act swiftly to rebuild our leverage over al-Sharaa, including by reimposing sanctions to pressure the Syrian government to protect minorities; pull back its campaign against the SDF; and crack down on any resurgence of ISIS. Time is of the essence. jewishinsider.com/2026/02/syrian…

Some media outlets recently presented this individual as a doctor detained in Al-Hol camp in eastern Al-Hasakah, while a later report by another media channel described him as a civilian. However, earlier footage filmed for Al-Furat Network clearly shows him in military attire among the ranks of ISIS, performing the oath of allegiance to the terrorist organization. Same person, same face, yet the story changes according to the narrative being promoted. This contradiction exposes attempts by certain parties to whitewash the image of ISIS terrorists, mislead public opinion, and cover up the crime of their release by the authorities of the Damascus government following their control over these areas.
