... ... ( tail attempts to pull away. ) Kinda looks like it.

... ... ( they're staring at him holding their tail, pulling it taunt. ) ... did you try to grapple my tail.

Depends on the game. Technically NPCs shoot at you in The Last of Use. ( TAIL WHACK. 💥 )

I think you should be.

I think we've reached the end of this dialogue line.

Then that explains how you didn't know what made the zombies.

What is this, The Last of Us?

To perpetuate the lifecycle of the fungus. Duh. It's not controlling them for fun, it uses the droppings of other animals as a breeding ground for seeds and hyphae. That gets returned to the soil, which infects plants and things other small insects eat, and it starts all over.

... ... ... they typically don't work on humans. the ant eats infected grass with the fungus, and then the fungus gradually takes over their body and motor functions, until it makes them dangle themselves off the tip of a leaf for a herbivore to eat them.

Usually mutations or a virus of some kind, but also a specific species of fungus in nature. ( they're saying this with a completely straight face. )

That's not what causes zombification though.

Why would your own brain turn you into a zombie
