I’ve never seen a mangaka portray the wild, its fauna and its relationship with humans as well as Daisuke Igarashi does. Reading his work (Children of the Sea, Witches, Little Forest) feels like an invitation to connect more deeply with the natural world.

30周年展記念展ですが、実は33年前に描いたカラーが展示してあります。 デビュー前に描いたKYOKOで、コミックス3巻の表紙になっている物の、元になっている絵です。展示予定のイラストを出版社に送った際に、中に紛れていたらしく、展示会のスタッフ様からのご要望により展示されることになりました。
