Organizing a birthday gathering for JL while inviting the very fanbases that disrespected him, sidelined him, and chipped away at his name is not maturity. It’s hypocrisy with a decorative banner. You don’t get to rewrite history just because it’s convenient for an event poster. Where was this “unity” when he was being talked over, erased, and reduced? Where was this energy when his own supporters had to fight just to get him basic respect? Suddenly everyone’s welcome now that his name carries weight, attention, and engagement? That’s not growth—that’s opportunism. Let’s not pretend this is about celebration. Because if it truly was, the bare minimum would’ve been protecting the space around him—protecting the very person you’re claiming to honor. Instead, what we’re seeing is a calculated move: gather numbers, widen reach, pull in attention, and wrap it all neatly under JL’s name like he’s a brand asset instead of a human being. And the most insulting part? Acting like this is some noble act of “putting differences aside.” No. Differences were never the issue—disrespect was.
