In other words: God's grace is every bit as unbelievably undeserved for every single person who experiences it - whether the 8 year old girl in Sunday school or the murderer on death row. Until we understand that, we will never truly appreciate His love.

The more I've thought about it, the less surprised I am that God would save Kanye. Why? Because I know he saved me! And I am the most sinful person I've ever met.

(3/3) ...discipleship and boldness to use his platform to witness for Christ. Lastly, any who would claim that his faith is certainly NOT real - read Acts. God loves to save those who "seem" un-saveable. Let us rejoice, as Heaven does, over 1 person who repents!!! (Luke 15).

(2/3) That being said, Christian, be careful NOT to jump to fantastical conclusions than Kanye is somehow saving Christianity. If his faith in genuine, he's still a young Christian. Let's be thankful for what we see God doing in him and honestly pray for his continued...

(1/3) A couple thoughts on Kanye's #JesusIsKing album: Quickly looking through the lyrics, seems pretty sound, for the most part. Minimal cursing - not an issue for me. Overall, seems in keeping with a true Christian seeking to honor Christ.

Paul, to the men in Corinth - "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." // You want to be a REAL man? Love others! The measure of a man is not what you can take from others, but what you can give to them.

"Jesus loves you" is not the full Gospel! There are SO many reasons WHY His love is glorious and SO many applications of such gracious love. All of which must be read, heard, discussed, meditated on, prayed over, praised and, then...shared! Go deeper. Know/tell the whole story.

Tomorrow night in The Point - A student baptism, special guest worship band, and a message on the faithfulness of God to PROVIDE for what He's promised. It's going to be a powerful night! Hope to see all you students there! 5:30-7:30pm.

Thought from John 21. Jesus had, 2x before, miraculously fed thousands with bread & fish. This time, with only a few, he cooks, instead. NO miracle. Why? They knew Jesus' power. Now, they needed to know His love. A hot meal and a conversation can heal more wounds than a miracle.

Matt 16:22 - Peter rebukes Jesus for saying He'll suffer/die. 23 - Jesus rebukes Peter, b/c his mind is on the "things of man". 24 - "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me." Deny = Stop using man's wisdom to determine God's will.
