@based_coach1 Every day in Denver i see someone driving while smoking a joint or blunt. Every single day. It's illegal but they do it anyway. These people weren't great drivers to begin with. Riding around smoking a joint like it's a cigarette is not helping.

In the end, I don't care if people smoke weed and legitimately my biggest gripe about it is that potheads are annoying and I'm so sick of smelling it anywhere. It shouldn't be allowed in carry on bags. Put it in your luggage. It smells so strong and the rest of the plane shouldn't have to smell your bag. You aren't diving off the plane the second you land and lighting up. There's no reason you need to make the plane smell like a grow house. You can smell it through the bag, through a backpack. You may like the smell, I don't. Many don't. I'd be less hateful about it if people just vaped and ate edibles.

The funniest thing about Americans and accents is how lots of you guys say, "I don't have an accent." I just had this interaction. You do, in fact, have accents. 😂 Have a friend from the Midwest whose accent takes me out. The way she says "fire" and "kitten" is so funny. Californian accent is super distinct. Of course, Southern accents are very distinct. My man's Texan accent is very *there*. He says "well awwwlll raaaiigghttt" regularly, which is hilarious. After reviewing the material, a disturbing picture emerges of what Maddison McDonald experienced before, during, and after the February 26, 2026 attack. According to the family, 7th grader Maddison McDonald had repeatedly reported bullying and threats to school staff for months leading up to the assault. I obtained emails showing school staff discussing counseling resources for Maddison weeks before the attack due to emotional distress and bullying concerns. He tied 27-year-old Nicholas Anderson's hands and feet, strangled him with bedsheets, and st*bbed him in the neck. He would profess his hatred for s*x offenders, saying that ki*ling them gave him "the best feeling I’ve had in a long time", and that he would continue to k*ll them unless he was executed. Beamon was sentenced to d*ath but k*lled himself in 2020.

You can go down a rabbit hole of bullshit explanations. People say it’s just greedy tech companies sucking up resources, or some coordinated land grab, or that it’s all about control and surveillance, or that data centers are the main reason power bills are spiking. Some of that has pieces of truth, but none of it explains the full picture. What’s actually going on is simpler. People are pissed, tired, and feel broke. Not worse than every generation before, but it feels that way, and that perception is what drives it. Costs are up, pressure is constant, and people feel like they are getting squeezed from every direction. So when that frustration builds, they look for something they can see and point at. Right now, that’s data centers. They’re big, obvious, use a lot of power and water, and they’re tied to companies people already don’t trust. So they get treated like the problem. But they’re not the root cause. They’re infrastructure. They’ve just become a symbol people dump their frustration on because the real causes are bigger, more complicated, and not as easy to point at.

So i am looking at DVDs.
