🦔A Nikkei investigation found that Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Oracle have $1.65 trillion in debt that doesn't appear on their balance sheets, more than the $1.35 trillion they officially report. These are GPU contracts, data center leases, and joint ventures that don't count as debt under accounting rules until the facilities go live. Meta's hidden debt is $420 billion, triple its reported debt. Oracle's grew 30-fold in four years. All five declined to comment. My Take Nikkei examined the actual filings and put a number on something the BIS already flagged as "shadow borrowing" back in March. These companies owe more off their balance sheets than on them, and the accounting rules let them keep it that way until the data centers go live. That's legal, but it means investors looking at quarterly earnings this week are seeing less than half the picture. Four of these five report earnings in the next two weeks. The reported debt will look manageable. The $1.65 trillion in footnotes won't make the headlines. But when those data centers start operating, the leases hit the books all at once. If AI demand comes in below projections, those facilities get marked down and the losses land on the investors and insurance policyholders who funded the construction through private credit and project bonds without realizing how much total exposure they were carrying. I have a company in mind that is the convergence of smart technology, pathway to cashflow in sub 18 months, small cap, working in US, and in critical metals. A great idea I’m working on understanding more: $ION whitehouse.gov/fact-sheets/20…

@Kurvy85 It also identified a couple which I was directionally correct but didn't go on and do a valuation. I didn't count those because they were impressions. It turned out I was right but we can't reward a gestalt shift...

Audit of My Market Prediction Accuracy x.com/toy59496/statu… I have completed an audit on my market prediction accuracy over the last year to determine how well I do both in direction and extent compared to professional fund managers. This is neither to big note myself nor to tear myself down but rather to make sure I am not wasting both my and your time How did I do? Better than I expected. Out of 11 formal valuations fully 9 are correct in direction. The two ones I miscalled are $AYA.AX and $EIQ.AX. I would say for the record that I think the Court is still out on $EIQ.AX but the analysis does not care about my feelings, and at this stage I'm just wrong. I am directionally correct with $CU6.AX and $WTC.AX but I would consider that mostly a wash at this stage although I'm still expecting an upside, particularly on $WTC.AX. The extent of directional predictions was particularly good for both $PME.AX and $SPCX as I almost drew the curves. That's likely partly luck but there was some science involved. Relative to the professionals I'm doing better both in direction and prediction of the extent of the move but this is a SMALL sample only, and the market is not always determined by intrinsic valuations. Note : Analysis done on Grok as the other AI cannot get access to the posts. I only include formal valuations and not arbitrage, eg I was wrong on the $MYX.AX arbitrage but not on the subsequent valuation.

$SPCX : The Inevitable Descent x.com/toy59496/statu… It's not like I didn't warn you on Day 1. Now look at the progressive release of float in the post below. Here's my tip: it's not going to get better. At least not until all that float is exhausted. And even then you have all those awkward incestuous interrelations I talked about in the ASIC disclosures. x.com/toy59496/statu… You know what to do. But what about the estimates by analysts and brokers? Well most of those giving financial advice are compromised by getting a cut on the sale, so I sure as hell wouldn't believe them. Let me put broker predictions below so you can see the bullshit...almost every single one is way above the current price. Not all of them One of the few honest traders is Morningstar which values SpaceX stock at a fair value estimate of $62 per share. That sounds about right. Having said all that it might be interesting to buy in November... The business remains interesting but the current price is confiscatory. Not financial advice, I am not your fiduciary.
