@MrOvis_ She made a community out of it where people came together to learn and develop it. Lightening bending went from some high level fire bending skill to a common factory worker ability.

@MrOvis_ Toph refining and teaching the metal bending art that she invented is more believable to me than lightening bending becoming common. Lightening bending was a known art that was difficult to master, where we don’t have prior knowledge of metal bending.

This scene is a good example of my issue with metalbending in Korra. In the original series, Toph had to be in physical contact with the metal, because it was much harder to bend than actual earth, because she was bending the impurities within it. Meanwhile, the metal bending in Korra is basically the opposite, they actually bend with far more precision than anyone bends earth with, which doesn't make any sense. It's kinda in the same vein as the lavabending, where instead of applying any actual logic to it, they treated the bending as pure sorcery. Korra doesn't learn it from anyone, she just has it, because she has more Bending Midiclorians than everyone else, I guess.

When I was a kid I accidentally selected to nickname my Treecko. I couldn’t back out, was too dumb to restart the game, and didn’t know the Name Rater was a thing… so I just nicknamed it Treecko. 🥴 Eventually I had a lv.100 Sceptile named Treecko. 🙃

Is Togepi's shell is actually a parasite? Look closely at its biology and evolution: • Unlike other bird or reptile Pokémon, Togepi never actually hatches or leaves its shell. The shell is permanently fused to its flesh. • The Pokédex explicitly states that Togepi survives by siphoning "positive emotional energy" from anyone who holds it. The cute, crying baby fairy literally just the bait to get you to hug it. • The red and blue triangles on the shell aren't decorative—they are the parasite's actual biological markings. • When it finally fully evolves into Togekiss, the baby fairy doesn't outgrow the egg... the egg completely consumes the fairy. Togekiss's entire body is just the white shell taking over as the dominant lifeform, proudly displaying those exact same red and blue parasite markings. You weren't protecting a baby Pokémon but it was feeding off of you.
