@Stoltho Personally, I think that's AOT ODM is too difficult for the average player to learn. I've been thinking about making the turns easier, but I don't know how yet

@Kvemonn yeah ik thats how it works internally, having unity experience myself. it just depends on your goal i guess and i thought it was to make something ODM gear like. i think thats fine, maybe the lack of snappiness on the turning is what makes it feel off to me

@Stoltho Because that's how it is. There's no real pendulum physics here. Instead, you're pushed to the point between the hooks + gravity. I did this to make the game a fun slasher with hooks and not a simulator

@Lucy_ZXC You can do this anyway, just throw the hooks to the left and right. You'll fly out between the hooks like a slingshot. And I don't want to add any kind of abilities or different types of hooks. It's pure skill!

@Kvemonn idea for you: grapple move that slows you a lil in the air, but then powers up and launches you in the direction where it was hooked + adds vertical momentum up so you can fly above the obstacles. it would work like spiderman uses his hands to change direction at the end of swing
