Just spent the last 2 weeks in mNGS training at #CZBiohubSF . It’s been an intense 2 weeks of lab work, data analysis and interacting with experts in the field. Looking forward to putting what I have learnt to practice in the lab back home in Zambia.
I presented on the optimised veSEQ protocol which is embedded in the AMPHEUS lab system which we will be rolling out in Zambia. I appreciate the mentorship and assistance received from @OxfordViromics@sandelisa90 during the whole process.@PSIOxford@ZambartResearch@HivPangea
After thought-provoking sessions during the day, delegates headed off on a riverboat cruise through Oxford for dinner and networking at picturesque Isis Farmhouse.
See you tomorrow for #PANDEMICSCIENCES23 Day 2!
It’s finally here!!! Excited about the work we will be doing in the AMPHEUS lab. Building and strengthening next generation sequencing capacity in Zambia.
