ENGLISH Allowing collectible sets to be purchased with Silver is, without exaggeration, one of the most concerning decisions ever made within the Habbo Collectibles ecosystem. From the very beginning, it was clearly established that Emeralds (NFTC) would be the exclusive currency used to acquire these items. This was not a minor detail, it was the foundation of trust that supported the community’s investment in the system. Later, with the introduction of Silver, the team made its purpose clear: to cover the costs of the new collectibles wallet and the system’s operational fees. In that same communication, it was explicitly reaffirmed that Emeralds would remain the premium currency of the ecosystem. Now, by allowing the same items to be purchased with Silver, there is a direct contradiction of that principle. This is not just a strategic change. It is a breach of trust. The devaluation of Emeralds becomes inevitable in this scenario. And with it comes the devaluation of the entire ecosystem built around exclusivity. To put it simply, this break in trust is comparable to Habbo bringing back old rares that were once said would never return and selling them again in the Shop. And this goes beyond those who own collectibles. Today it is Emeralds. Tomorrow, what else could lose its exclusivity? Classic rares? Promised benefits? Entire systems that were presented as core pillars of the game? When a fundamental principle is broken, the issue is no longer about a single item or currency. It becomes about predictability and trust across the entire game. Even players who never invested in collectibles are affected by this. Trust in the rules is what keeps any economy healthy, whether it is based on credits, rares, or collectibles. The players most impacted by this decision are those who believed in the project from the very beginning. They are people who dedicated time, invested in the system, and helped build the Habbo economy into what it is today. Weakening this group does not make the game more accessible. It makes the system less reliable, less attractive, and ultimately less sustainable. Accessibility matters, but it cannot come at the cost of breaking the principles the project was built on. If decisions like this continue, the impact will not be limited to Emeralds. It will affect the overall credibility that Habbo has built over time. ------------------------------ PORTUGUÊS A decisão de permitir que conjuntos colecionáveis sejam adquiridos com Silver é, sem exagero, um dos movimentos mais preocupantes já feitos dentro do ecossistema de Colecionáveis do Habbo. Desde o início do projeto, foi estabelecido de forma clara que as Esmeraldas (NFTC) seriam a moeda exclusiva para aquisição desses itens. Esse não era um detalhe secundário, era a base de confiança que sustentou todo o investimento da comunidade no sistema. Posteriormente, com a introdução da Silver, a própria equipe deixou claro o seu propósito: custear a nova carteira de colecionáveis e as taxas operacionais do sistema. Na mesma comunicação, foi reafirmado de forma explícita que as Esmeraldas continuariam sendo a moeda premium do ecossistema. Agora, ao permitir que os mesmos itens sejam comprados com Silver, há uma ruptura direta com esse princípio. Isso não é apenas uma mudança de estratégia. É uma quebra de confiança. A desvalorização das Esmeraldas é inevitável nesse cenário. E com ela, vem a desvalorização de todo o ecossistema que foi construído ao redor da ideia de exclusividade. Parafraseando o que aconteceu, essa quebra de confiança equivale ao Habbo dizer que raros antigos, que nunca retornariam, voltariam a ser vendidos na HabboShop. E esse ponto vai além de quem possui colecionáveis. Hoje são as Esmeraldas. Amanhã, o que mais pode deixar de ser exclusivo? Raros clássicos? Benefícios prometidos? Sistemas inteiros que foram apresentados como pilares do jogo? Quando um princípio fundamental é quebrado, o problema deixa de ser sobre um item ou uma moeda. Passa a ser sobre a previsibilidade e a segurança de todo o jogo. Mesmo quem nunca investiu em colecionáveis é impactado por isso. Porque a confiança nas regras do jogo é o que mantém qualquer economia saudável, seja ela baseada em créditos, raros ou colecionáveis. Os jogadores mais impactados por essa decisão são aqueles que acreditaram no projeto desde o começo. São pessoas que dedicaram tempo, investiram no sistema e ajudaram a construir a economia do Habbo como ela é hoje. Enfraquecer esse grupo não torna o jogo mais acessível. Torna o sistema menos confiável, menos atrativo e, a longo prazo, menos sustentável. Acessibilidade é importante, mas não pode vir à custa da quebra dos princípios que fundamentaram o projeto. Se esse tipo de decisão continuar, o impacto não será apenas nas Esmeraldas.
