🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡 This evening, Wednesday, February 25th our @NJCAABasketball DIV I @CowleyHoops Tigers (17-10 / 12-9 & in 6th in KJCCC) headed out to Independence, KS to take on at 7:30pm CT the Independence Community College Pirates (14-13 / 12-9 & in 8th in KJCCC - we beat them at home 86-74 on 01/10). Tigers came out playing very well & immediately jumped ahead as Indy was cold & took a 50-34 lead heading into half time. 2nd half Tigers came out cold allowing an Indy a 13-5 run, but finally got things going & pulled off the 101-83 "W" & get the 🧹🧹 for the season! We had two (2) Tigers that had Career High tonight: Freshman Forward #22 Jordan Smith who had his 1st Tiger Double/Double (15P/11R - 15P was his Tiger Career High also)! WOO HOO Jordan! Freshman Guard/Forward #3 Chase Robinson who had a Tiger Career High 24 points (10-13 FGA) in addition to 6 boards; 1 assist, 3 steals & 1 block! WAY TO ROAR CHASE!
