@MarioNawfal The people had what we call a vote, you know, your beloved democracy, and overwhelmingly said they wanted to be a part of Russia. The corrupt Ukraine government punished them for that. Russia is protecting their people, not bombing their apartment buildings to expand.

A loved one just sent me this message, and she makes a very good point. Why is everyone (including me) up in arms about territory Israel COULD annex in Lebanon, but accepted a much larger territory being annexed by Russia as inevitable? The Ukrainian territory currently occupied by Russia is 195x bigger than the Lebanese territory Israel currently occupied

You can travel to Italy, but you’ll never be an Italian. You can travel to France but you’ll never be a Frenchman. You can live in Germany but you’ll never be a German. You can pack your bags and live the rest of your life in China or Japan, but you’ll never be Chinese or Japanese. Yet you can come from any one of those countries to the United States of America, and you can still be an American – so long as you work hard, you play by the rules, you make your contributions, wait your turn, pledge allegiance to the flag, and obtain your citizenship.

@WallStreetApes You have to have a permanent or long term disability to get even a dime from VA disability pay. For context: Getting a leg blown off (missing leg) will get you $800/mo. Would y'all blow your leg off for $800/mo? No? Then don't complain about VA disability pay.

@OwenShroyer1776 Fuentes wore a sweater that mimicked Jeffrey Epstein's sweater and he laughed about it. He also said anyone who says israel killed Charlie Kirk is a low IQ anti-semite. Fuentes and Dershowitz are on the same team, actually.

This guy has an asphalt and sealcoating business that his dad started 23 years ago. He went to sealcoat this driveway and the customer told him that they weren’t paying because he did it too fast. He says just because he has perfected his craft doesn’t mean it’s cheaper work and doesn’t mean it’s cheaper in cost. Do you think this customer had a right not to pay them since they weren’t there very long? If you were the customer, are you paying for a result or for the time?

Handing people a check isn't going to solve the crisis of meaning and the spiritual void in people's lives. What will people *do* all day? Shop? Scroll another feed? From where and what will they derive meaning? They aren't starting families. Most of them reject God. There is no point in going to school beyond the level of basic reading writing and math if jobs are nuked. Not to mention the fact that we now have access to intelligence on demand in our hands. Remove the job that gives someone a some small sense of purpose (and for many the only sense of belonging and community they have) and it's a recipe for disaster that no amount of money will solve. How do you determine how much everyone gets? Does the crack addict get the same check as the 140 IQ young guy with endless potential? On what basis can some afford a yacht and others never reach that level? No one has seriously given any meaningful thought into what this actually looks like in the real world with real people and how it will impact their lives spiritually, mentally, and physically, not just financially.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

@swifthampton @Monarch1955 @WallStreetApes Funny how everything you listed has required training or evaluation first—ASVAB, driver’s tests, even premarital counseling in many cases. But for massive, long-term debt? Nothing. Just sign. That’s the gap you keep ignoring.

And you don't think 18 year olds aren't pushed into marriage or joining the military? Both things, according to you, they aren't smart enough to understand the long term consequences for. And simply checking a vote box simply to 'vote' or just jumping into a car simply to 'drive' can create life long consequences as well. An accident can ruin your life financially for decades. A wrong vote can destroy your ability to advance in society.

American has $197,000 in student loans The interest rate is 5.12%, which means she is accruing about $10,086 of interest every single year on her student loans That’s $840 a month just in interest just to break even without paying anything on the loan “It feels so crushing” Student loans in America are predatory. Americans cannot pay these back and they’ll be trapped in debt forever

@swifthampton @Monarch1955 @WallStreetApes At this point you’re just deflecting. The question is simple: why are kids given complex, high-interest debt with no real financial education first? If you can’t answer that, everything else you’re saying is just noise.

@swifthampton @Monarch1955 @WallStreetApes Voting, driving, even the military all come with structure and guidance. Student loans are “sign here” and figure it out later. That’s the difference you keep ignoring.

No it's not. Your point rests upon the fact that you claim 18 year olds aren't smart or mature enough to understand financial contracts. If the smarts or maturity aren't there as you claim, then they shouldn't be allowed to vote, drive, join the military, get married, or even sign for a mortgage. Each of each carries long term consequences that they need to understand. You can't simply cherry pick what you feel someone is mature enough for or not simply because you don't like the terms of something. By your cherry picking logic, 18 years old isn't mature or smart enough to get married because they won't understand what they're getting into. There are ways and means and resources to go about understanding the financial aid contract. No different than going through the terms of a mortgage with the loan officer and the real estate agent.

@swifthampton @Monarch1955 @WallStreetApes You keep repeating the same false equivalence. No one’s saying 18-year-olds can’t make decisions—we’re saying they’re not taught complex financial literacy.
