@SonnyBunch For me, the funniest thing is that some games or apps expect you to scroll to the bottom of the EULA, as if that makes the EULA more valid. I'm pretty sure scrolling to the bottom is legal team superstition.

@SonnyBunch The validity of anything in a EULA is up in the air. The legal team can put whatever they want in there. If they ever try to use it in court, which is unlikely, the courts will throw out whatever they don't like.

@TVGrimReaper "The NBA Pick-u-tron 2000, using computer generated data combined with committee recommendations, has decided to award the team to the town which just happens to have an arena referendum on the ballot."

@TVGrimReaper The league could choose where they go based on what market they want to promote, or what will produce the most revenue. They could come up with a phony excuse for why they chose certain teams. Explaining why would be a PR Jedi's dream.

@ErickWeber I truly hated this film on all levels. 🔥😡🔥If I wasn't watching this with my wife I would not have finished it.

@ErickWeber The movie is about a shallow person with a vivid but largely meaningless inner life who uses her fantasies to free herself of the need to help her "loved ones" and tell them the truth: she doesn't care about anyone but herself.

@ErickWeber Realistically, many of the style ideas of EEAAO were interesting, which is why I think it won people over. It was the substance that was terrible.

@cohenjo292 @efs120 @TVGrimReaper If you wish to believe that, you can. But there's no reason to believe it is true. That's ed's original point: That's what they always say. In almost no cases does a show say "we didn't want to pay this person". The only reason Grey's looks odd is that it has run very long.

@KyleADOlson @efs120 @TVGrimReaper Yes. With that show in particular though, one of the most successful in in the history of TV, the original cast has been allowed to leave on their own timetable, unless they were involved in a real world scandal.

@TVGrimReaper the old "creative decision" bingo square, never about the money in the world of television, of course
Variety@Variety

Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd are exiting #GreysAnatomy after the Season 22 finale on May 7. • McKidd joined the series as Dr. Owen Hunt during Season 5 (2008). Raver debuted as Dr. Teddy Altman in Season 6 (2009). • The actors' departures are said to be a creative decision, and, as with other stars in the "Grey's Anatomy" franchise, they may return in the future. wp.me/pc8uak-1lH3IE

@cohenjo292 @efs120 @TVGrimReaper It's a normal situation, and they will push out anyone. Everyone's price increases year after year from. If he was original he would have a higher price. Once the producers don't think the actor is worth the raise they would get, the actor goes.

@SamAdlerBell "Nothing happens" is inaccurate, but it is one of a number of Coen films which does not have a strong 3 act structure. The Dude has a goal. The goal resolves itself. The film continues and then ends. The film gets by on scenes rather than plot.

@NFLosophy I don't think the opinion is unreasonable. It's the "only 2 disagreed" part that makes it feel very off. As spoken and viewed as a sample, it moves it from "a few folks" to "the vast majority of the league". Of 32 teams, 26-28 of them would favor Ty.

@daniel_rotman15 The other 13 not only agreed, but also sent Orlovsky pictures of their draft boards and digital copies of all the internal scouting reports and then went into detail about exactly how much they were willing to pay for each player in the draft and sent him their email passwords.

I’m completely removed from the draft landscape this year and don’t care who is better between Mendoza or Simpson. But I will say that when a national analyst of this magnitude goes so far out of their way to promote one player while downplaying another, it’s because there is a motive to do so (i.e. connection, relationship, agreement etc.). It’s the same promotion as Mac Jones in 2021 and, irrespective of your opinion on the QBs, it’s best taken with a grain of salt.
Ari Meirov@MySportsUpdate

Dan Orlovsky says he texted 12–15 GMs/decision-makers that Alabama QB Ty Simpson is the best QB in the draft, and only 2 disagreed. (🎥 @PatMcAfeeShow)

@BanHammerJags @nickgillespie It is not ad ignorantiam. There have been studies. I'm sure Reason has them. If that's not enough, the "unprovable" is proving a negative. Something which can't be disproved can't be proved.

@KyleADOlson @nickgillespie A fine example of ad ignorantiam. But let's say you are correct, then the bill will strengthen public trust in the voting institution, which is an important element of democracy. So there is no real argument against it.

Well literally somebody will since somebody will do nearly anything... But ignoring that, realistically this is done through mail-in. I know someone who said their family used to take turns voting on a dead grandmother's ballot.
