@Dr_Sudi @TheRealDoctorOs I’m sad that both of you left academics, honestly. I have thought about it myself but I enjoy the teaching more than anything else about my career or current job. You’re both great teachers.

@TheRealDoctorOs It’s nice to have a tie to academics. However, I can tell you that it is very difficult. Most academic centers want nothing to do with private practice physicians. Getting an adjunct clinical appointment can often be very challenging but again each situation is different.

Should I still do some academics? 👨‍🎓 I will abide by the results of this poll 🙃 #irad

If neither threshold has been reached I will go to 10mm. Thoughts on this step-wise approach?

Although liver stiffness plays a role here of course, as it did with the old Viatorr and other SES used for TIPS if dilated less than than 10mm.

As Nitinol stents (Covered and uncovered) naturally expand with time to its nominal diameter. I guess at the study endpoint (2 years), both groups have a diameter of 10.
