Hoping the coming wave of AI-developed games on Roblox pushes more creators to think of their games as brands, and to focus on what makes them distinct. Characters. Recognizable locations. Brandable assets. Creating a strong identity for your game is going to be essential to stand out from the waves of generic content. This not only drives player affinity, it creates a clear pathway to licensing, partnerships, and expansion beyond the initial medium (the game).

An update on the Brainrot pie on Roblox: Slices continue to get thinner. Total CCU: down 15% WoW. Avg CCU per game: down 35% WoW. Supply continues to rise (+29.6% new games). Demand continues to stall. The top 1 game still holds 29% of all brainrot CCU. Top 3 hold 61%.

Brainrot also saw the largest % growth in new entrants of the 4 categories above, week over week (as of today). But also saw the worst dilution in users as a result.

The top 5 Brainrot games on Roblox make up 72% of total CCUs in the category. To compare: Top 5 Roleplay Games = 64% of category CCUs Top 5 Simulator Games = 43% Top 5 Obby Games = 32%

Horror & Survival on Roblox are both exhibiting strong growth in new entrants, but the market is absorbing those new games quite well. +24.2% Avg New Games WoW +19.7% Avg Total CCU WoW Leaving only a ~3.65% gap in audience growth over new entrants.

Horror & Survival make up 2 of the top 5 fastest growing games week over week I've been tracking. Zombie Borderline at +2462.5% Kidnapper at +1882%

The Brainrot pie on Roblox is growing. 1,000 games now relevant to discovery (+46% WoW) +11% avg total CCU WoW But slices are getting thinner: Avg CCU per game down 24%. More creators. More competition.
