Wait till you realized he wrote You’ll be in my heart about her. It would go on to win the Oscar for best song in 1999.

@ScottGustin For what It's worth, I appreciate some of what he did for the parks, even if a lot of it was flawed.

NEW: Jeff Vahle will retire from Disney in late July. Vahle is currently the president of Walt Disney World Resort, a position he has held since May 2020.

@MiguelArtwork16 You Are" speeches that manage to help them understand their strengths, while not treating them like they're perfect. It also helps that the characters had angst in the first film that, if anything, the sequel/prequel starring them expands upon.

I will never truly understand why people think Helen (Elastigirl) was a “good protagonist” she doesn’t have the same impact as Bob does and she was nothing but selfish and didn’t even learn anything she went through or have any emotional high stakes and yet Mater in Cars 2 actually does really says a lot, I get the feeling that people only defend Helen because “she’s a sexy milf, she gets a pass” Incredibles 2 is ass, a year of production was taken away in favor of Toy Story 4, the movie is basically a lazy rehash of the first movie but a more family friendly version and takes ZERO risks with a terribly executed villain with a twist that is kinda stupid.

@BrerOswald It's also why they made all the unnecessary changes to Epcot and Disney's California Adventure: the general public saw both second gates as "Boring Educational Park" and "The State You're Already In", and treated them like punchlines.

In my opinion, it takes two. Disney for making the decision, and the influencers/bloggers for enabling it. Apparently, Disneyland’s small world almost got the boot in the 2000s. It was head honchos in the fan community that pushed against it and they compromised with characters.
