Been seeing a lot of these bad boys around the farm this year! I’m hoping this is a good sign that we are establishing a good balance of predator to prey species! Starting with building our #SoilFoodWeb we’ve been able to nearly eliminate insecticides on the farm. #Neat 🌱🦖

Probably the best looking relay beans I’ve had in the 7 or 8 years I’ve been doing this.

@KyleSchnell2 I know I know…ya damn hippie. 🤣 You have any recommendations on what beneficial products to use? Would love to avoid using the -cides as much as possible, but know we have been giving up a good amount of yield by skipping them in the past…just trying to step up my bean game.

Rookie Soybean Fungicide Question(s): Does time of day have any affect on efficacy of fungicide? IE spray in morning & evenings when plants are “open” like with a foliar app? Do you wait until all plants are at R3 and some are getting to R4, or send it as soon as you find R3?

@KyleSchnell2 @flir @UndergroundAgri @DawnEquipment Very low disturbance opener.... on a rig built for versatility? We drill Precision covers,InnerSeed,P&k band/sidedress N and heck have even planted beans with this rig. But the best reason is it give me management options....especially in Corn with the twins with InRow rolling

@Jonstevens4640 Who’s this ted guy you mentioned in your YouTube? Btw- I’m also on the same idea of using a drill and either blocking off rows for corn or mix it all together and use a Draper to harvest.

Jay Fuhrer started the MFGA Field day off with a wonderful presentation on how carbon works and plants and soil work together.Ann Journey taught us about corn borer, aphids, cut worms and root worms, Kristen B. And Mike with the rain simulator opened a lot of eyes!!

@KyleSchnell2 @OnFarmNetworkIA The strips are where the drill went through. The side hills have some thin spots due to us only planting at 1bu/ac and poor overwintering.

#Relay19 update: early drilled soybean strips can be seen but the wheat is coming back strong. Hopefully drill and plant the last strips early next week. Still not planning on using any herbicides, fertilizer, or fungicides... thoughts? #RegenerativeAg @OnFarmNetworkIA
