Nice to see Ugandan artists come together. Creatives, educate yourselves on what this means for you as a brand and an artist. Some people are misinterpreting what this implies.
But old guys can gatekeep. Man work with us. Our brains function thara. Our ideas are fresh. Naye you can chat to a zeeyi and the guy is still lack in 1986.
Love me or don’t!!!!
@KyleSimbwa came all the way through with the instrumental, production and music style! The new school is in fact taking all hostages 😍 #GoodMusicFriday
Someone tell Tojo @Tojo256 I’m a fan of everything he does! I find his animated character such an interesting discovery! I also came across the super talented Aunty Yuko this week add @CxjPowell to the mix and you have a banger!

Dropping tomorrow! 🎧🔥
A real voice from the ghetto @PryceTeeba breaks down Ugandan Hip-Hop, his grind, Marine, and why he’s one of the most underrated in the game.
YouTube + all podcast platforms. Don’t miss it.
@TheeNinjaC Interesting nuance to this is, it'd normally be exclusively called a regime, tenure, term in office. (eg. D.J.T's tenure, regime, term in office.) The word "rule" would normally pass for a kingship/chieftaincy/aristocracy, but we use it anyway haha. This is our reality.
Uganda has spent 40 years under the rule of the same President and regime. This year I turn 37 which means this is all I have known ALL MY LIFE, I am already assured that I am going to experience an identity crisis the day this status quo changes. This is my reality.
New Kampala artistes need to unite again.
We are at our best when we are TOGETHER.
Can’t let this music fade.
We’re just about to rescue the 256 from that same 90s beat scheme running our mainstream.
Don’t let up.
Don’t give up on community.
