Immediate thoughts go to those involved with the club in all capacities. A devastating day for those people. A dark day for rugby league too. Newcastle was seen as the model for expansion, with Thunder driving it, so this outcome is scary for the sport’s prospects.

@JennaBrooks I bet nothing is said about the fact the ref is from Wigan for Wigan vs Catalans which is a disgrace. Fix from the rfl. Could easily have given it to a Yorkshire ref in Chris Kendall or Ben Thaler absolute joke.
