I was once put into the position of having to address a woman for regularly not wearing a bra to church on Sunday. I was accused of body shaming. The truth is, it is incredibly unloving to allow a fellow sister in Christ to continue causing brothers to stumble without addressing it. It is unloving to her, because she may very well not even be aware what she is doing considering the absurdly sexualized culture she has been catechized in, and if she is aware, all the more reason to confront her. It is also unloving to all the brothers who simply want to worship The Lord without constant lustful temptation. So fellow sisters in Christ, if you see another sister dressing inappropriately for worship, don’t gossip about it. Lovingly confront her. I promise it will save her a lot of embarrassment coming from you rather than a pastor or a fellow brother. And remember, modest is hottest.

There are lots of late born baby hedgehogs around at the moment. If they are out at night, that's fine. Please leave them be, out in the wild, and provide what they need - clean water and a dish of dry kitten food each night. There's plenty of time for them to grow and you will be a life saver. If they are out in the day, they are sick with internal parasites. They may not look sick, but they are ALL in need of professional assessment and life saving treatment, so please take them to a rescue (NOT a vet) immediately. Every hour of delay reduces their chance of survival. You can't love or feed a sick hedgehog better, and they aren't a DIY project. They are a precious wild animal on the endangered list and they will be in pain. So please do the right thing and get them the help they need.

@HedgehogCabin They are a fabulous rescue, who provide an incredible service and we’re profoundly grateful for them. I’m just very sad that they couldn’t make an exception for the hoglet. It would have taken us 15 min to get there. It had been a hard nature week, as both birds we’d rescued died

It's not fair to plead with a rescue when they say they are at their limit. We work extremely long hours and turning away sick animals hurts so much, but it has to be done for us to keep going and stay healthy ourselves. You need to keep contacting rescues, there will always be a bed somewhere, it just may not be as close and convenient as you would like. But you will always find a space. Keeping her yourself signs her death warrant.
