@EliraEclipse Sorry, that's only on Twitter. In real life, majority players care about the game and like the game itself. There's a reason regardless of many games giving free stuff, they can't retain players like Genshin. Because they can provide only that - free stuff. Nothing more.

People need to understand that gacha game studios are never "generous".
If they give you more pulls, it's because market research has proven that it's necessary for retention & higher spending. They know exactly how many pulls to give to maximize their profits.

People need to let go of fanon columbina, she's literally a consequence of people trying to get ahead of the game by making up a character instead of allowing hoyoverse to tell their story and then complain about hoyoverse not having the same concept. The actual writers.

my *general* rule of thumb for hoyoverse characters is that the sweeter the character is, the meaner the fans of said character are

I've been in fandom spaces for about 16 years and... a weird recurring situation is... fans of characters who are considered evil/assholes being generally more level-headed and peaceful than fans of nice/lovable characters, who often behave aggressively. In every fandom.
