Bruh. Just called out on my last day. LOL. Look. Before ya'll judge me I'll tell ya 1 thing. Most businesses will not give a damn abt ur health, mental or otherwise. Not 1 person cared that I was working 10+ shifts a week, continuous, for the past few years. I could barely walk by the time I got home. They only cared abt hitting labor % and profits. Not that I've never called out before or have come in and stayed late when needed. I just realized I can finally afford to quit and put my mental and physical health as a priority now. I'd been feeling sick, either from stress or something else for the past week and I was just done. I am sorry but also not that sorry.

Ya'll. Just gave notice to 2 of my jobs. I am a lil in shock rn. My body I think, had known it was coming... I had just gotten done with 11 shifts back to back and I was hurting. Like throw up, everything throbbing, couldn't unclench my hands due to overuse spasms, HURTING. I was in so much pain and then a miracle happened. My new position wanted me in faster. I wanted to cry hearing that news. Its more fast paced but physically less demanding of both time and effort. Now I can focus on resting what I couldn't for the past few years. Getting my health back up to where I want and working on my sides, both hobby and other. It's always when I'm at my lowest, either mentally, physically, or SOULfully...that miracles seem to happen. Life is funny that way.
