The idea that it is somehow a privilege to promote a company's (i.e. publisher's) product (i.e. books) *for free* is rampant on booktube, bookstagram etc. and it's high key insulting 😬 Mostly, it's the attitude for me.

Fun fact, this was my parents’ first gaming console when they were newlyweds! We’ve been a Nintendo family for as long as I can remember. Wish they kept it to join my game collection today, but I hope I’ll own another one day ✨
