I had a parent today tell me that their son didn’t need a trainer because LeBron James did not have a trainer until he was in the NBA. I explained to this parent that LeBron James was 6/8 250 pounds at 16 . Your son is 5/9, 145 at 16. She got 😡at me . 🤣

I have been training and mentoring for over 25 years and very rarely do I bring a camera in the gym .The reason is because in my gym kids know this is the one place they can make mistakes until they get it right.That’s how kids learn. Not by trying to go viral

A major problem I see with the basketball training world is social media. There are a lot of good trainers that are doing good work, but we don’t talk about them. But the trainers who are trying to go viral doing goofy stuff get all the attention.
