Update: The Measure G Task Force's proposal for an independent Ethics Commission cleared its first consideration yesterday at the Operations Cluster. It now moves to the full Board of Supervisors for discussion on Tuesday, May 19. Details on how to engage will follow. More👇

Community feedback produced specific recommendations that made it into the final proposal. It was one of the most extensive public engagement processes in the Measure G Task Force's work to date.

LA County is one step closer to its first independent Ethics Commission. Today at 2pm, the @CountyofLA Board of Supervisors' Operations Cluster takes up the proposed motion. It's the first formal step before the full Board consideration.
