My last game today as the Leith Athletic 2009s gaffer. I was urged by my better half to step in to help save the age group from folding without realising just how rewarding it was going to be. We persevered and now regularly compete with some of the best teams in the country ⚫️⚪️

We are recruiting for next season. A great group of talented boys ⚽️

With only 11 fit available players today , the boys done great and put some shift in that heat,some nice football,2 cracking goals, 💯 effort tired a bit in the second half but a well deserved point. Good luck to Leith for the rest of the season ⚽️Well Done Ben on MOTM

What a great result tonight. 3-0 win against a very strong and top Musselburgh Windsor side. Quite fitting performance for the gaffers last game in charge down at Leith Links ⚫️⚪️

We had a very good season last year but after a ruthless 9-1 win today that’s us now picked up more league wins already this season with 8 games still to go. Total resilience and perseverance after a bad start. Holland next weekend for the boys 🇳🇱⚫️⚪️

That’s now 8 wins out of our last 9 games. Today probably the hardest fought one in a 1-0 away win over current Scottish cup holders Musselburgh Windsor. We knew we had to be at our very best to even get close but yet again boys worked hard and done it. Proud coaches again ⚽️⚫️⚪️

After picking up our first point early December the boys have won 5 games in a row to take us from second bottom to second top. We understand it's a bit of a false league position with teams lucky enough to still be fighting it out in cups but it's some form for us. Proud ⚽️⚫️⚪️
