As a lifelong Los Angeles Rams fan, I’ve always respected the Minnesota Vikings on a pure NFL level. That purple legacy — the Purple People Eaters, Moss, AD, the Skol chant rattling the rafters — it’s old-school, hard-nosed football. You build tough teams that show up and compete. Rams fans get it: we’ve battled in tough divisions too. Football is better with a proud franchise like the Vikings in it. But damn, Minnesota… on the field I tip my helmet to you. The way your state officials are shielding fraudsters in these massive feeding and childcare scams — millions in federal money vanishing while they drag their feet on arrests and accountability — that’s not the Minnesota I respected.
