Black History Month Spotlight Mary Louise Smith- was an 18-year-old African American civil rights activist arrested in Montgomery, Alabama in 1955, for refusing to give up her bus seat to a white passenger. She was one of several women who were arrested before Rosa Parks.

8th Grade Program of Choice Night! Join us this Tuesday, December 2nd from 5:30–7 PM! Our team will be on campus to help families apply for 9th Grade POC high schools. 🍽️ Dinner and dessert will be provided! We can’t wait to support our Lions as they plan for high school! 🦁

Excited to share that LAN was recognized at the annual @fortworthPRSA Worthy Awards for our Media Team coverage of LAN schools! We went three for three with Awards of Excellence for our Annual Report and Como 70th video, and won a Worthy Award for our @LAForestOak JCC video!
