LASD HOST recently participated in a tour at the Hall of Records to visit the Emergency Centralized Response Center (ECRC). The ECRC, help organize outreach teams, including HOST, and other initiatives dedicated to assisting unsheltered individuals & families across @CountyofLA .

Today marks the 3rd Anniversary of our fallen partner, Detective Anthony “TonyTone” Bautista.   The CPB family misses you and continues to send blessings to your family.

From its inception, the mission of HOST is to positively impact the homeless crisis throughout LA County. Today, HOST and their collaborative partners from @LAHSA @ValleyOasis, conducted outreach in the Northern most remote area of the county, Antelope Valley.

“Team Effort”. HOST was asked to assist @LAPDhopeteam and @ArmyCorpsofEngineering with a cleanup operation of the historic Jefferson Bridge in the Ballona Wetlands. LAPD Hope Team along with HOST, People Assisting The Homeless and LAHSA.

The LASD Homeless Outreach Services Team (HOST) is comprised of civilian outreach professionals from LAHSA and specially trained outreach deputies in crisis stabilization and intervention.  Each day, they proactively seek out those experiencing homelessness.

A year ago today, we lost our friend and partner, Detective Anthony Bautista. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, along with members of Compton Station, the Counterfeit and Piracy Enforcement Team, and Tony’s family, solemnly reflect on the special times we had. -Tony

This weekend, explorer class 106 were able train at our PDC Range in Castaic CA. Our explorers just competed there colors run two weeks ago earning their patches. Being able to understand the basic rules of using a firearm is extremely important!

Community Partnership Bureau welcomed, with the help of our Youth Activity League, The International Visitor Leadership Program through the US Department of State is hosting 17 visitors from different countries in Africa. Their study topic is “Dissuading Radicalization.”

Today Community Partnership Bureau (HOST) was up bright and early with TSB and other assisting units to brief on Operation Safe Travels. HOST is beginning the process of rapport building with those experiencing homelessness along the Metro System.

It was an honor for LASD HOST to present the collaborative HOST model to representatives from 30 different countries at the LASD Consular Forum.  By utilizing innovative collaborations, LASD HOST has shown public safety can be enhanced by addressing homelessness with compassion.

From North to South, East to West, LASD HOST addressing homelessness throughout the County with compassion and dignity.  The HOST model displays public safety which can be significantly enhanced with accountability and civility. From San Gabriel Riverbed to Antelope Valley HOST

HOST was honored to have Dr Roberto Mezzina, Current Vice President of the World Federation of Mental Health, and former Director of Trieste Mental Health in Italy, deploy with us in Coyote Creek and the LA River, to observe our Co Response model with LAHSA and @LasdMET @LASDHQ
