Happy International Day of Older Persons! 📷 Today and everyday we celebrate the wisdom, resilience, and contributions of older people in our community. At Link Age Southwark, we believe in the power of connection and support for older people to live fulfilled, independent lives.

This afternoon we will host our Annual General Meeting. We will be hearing from a very special guest, Winnie who turned 100 this year and has been with us since our earliest days. She'll be sharing her wonderful journey with Link Age Southwark, and it's sure to be a highlight!

What an amazing time at our Summer Seaside Party! The energy, food and music- an unforgettable day. It's the season of celebration and as Notting Hill Carnival lights up London, we're reminded of the power of community, joy and vibrant culture that brings us all together.

Meet Colm, 76, who’s regained his confidence through our Gentle Exercise classes. From barely walking to strutting proudly, Colm’s journey is a testament to the power of community and determination. “I feel wonderful, I feel confident, I can walk,” he says. 💪✨

We are excited for the Alleyn's Open Garden Tea Party on Saturday! 🌸 Join from 10am-12:30pm for garden tours with the Head Gardener, tea and cake and live music by their talented students. Suggested donation of £5 @AlleynsSchool

Last weekend was a blooming success at our Open Gardens! We had a wonderful time exploring the gardens, enjoying live music and delicious cakes all while raising money. Thanks to everyone who came out to support and our hosts for opening their beautiful gardens to the community.
