This was a pen, all day long by the way. The tackle bought Hurtre down and the ref didn’t even blink. The minute she gets ahead of the defender, it had to be a foul. Another week in WSL2 🤷‍♀️

@SimonRicha32809 I think she had to check herself after those early bookings or it would have had to be 20 yellows, I was bracing myself for a red. She then started letting some blatant fouls go and lost control of it. We’ll take the win though, they don’t make it easy there.

@LAURA____8 Refereeing was very weird today I thought. I’m not sure I’ve seen a women’s game with 4 bookings before and the first one was incredibly harsh considering the Southampton player had a ball in her hands before the one McKenna kicked away had hit the touchline.
