Candace Owens is not a Christian. Listen here as she rambles on and on and tries to sound sincere and righteous. She has no fruit of the Spirit because the Holy Spirit is not within her. The Spirit is not even with her. It’s not that everything she’s saying here is wrong, but we must be able to discern false teachers and wolves in sheep’s clothing. These vicious wolves come with some correct doctrine as to deceive and point the people to themselves rather than to Christ. Jesus told the people to listen and do what the Pharisees said because they were in the seat of Moses, but not to do as they did. Candace says, “Some days it felt really lonely but then I realized that the entire world is rooting me on.” As a Christian if the entire world is rooting you on then you’re doing something in opposition to God. That which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in God’s eyes. Some of this flowery language might sound touching if you’re only nominally Christian—but you must listen a little closer to what she’s saying to get the full picture. Candace desires the things of the world: money, fame, and the praise of men. As Christians we are promised that we will not get the praise of men. We speak the truth in love and that offends. Let the chips fall where they may.
