final thoughts on the isles trades.. I think Darche turning Tsyplakov into Soucy, Palat, a better 3 rounder and a 6th is without a doubt a great job. Not enough people talking about how Palat might be the guy to get Drouin going.. At the end of the day Tsyplakov was doing 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 for the team (1G 1A), the isles are factually better today than they were before the trades, and the 6 million? The devils took 2.25M that was being healthy scratched each night so it’s not that crazy of a term to be adding on top of that for one and a half years, isles still have a good amount of cap space to make more moves. Now they need to address the PP and I don’t think these moves did anything for that. 15.9% will not get it done in the playoffs. A bottom of the league PP% has been the sole reason this team hasn’t advanced in the playoffs in the past so that’s just gotta get looked at. God bless, We’re going to Borrelli’s. Huge one tonight !

Why the #Isles? My bet is this is largely player/family-related given Soucy just had another kid and was shipped across the country last year. #NYR are probably keeping him in the Metro area so he doesn't have to uproot them.
