Does anyone remember the word “Baggsy”, as in “I Baggsy that”? I think it might be Brummie, but not sure.

@MissBostock88 @IntlTes @TeamInternatio2 Awaiting confirmation. We have a two week partial lockdown here in Brunei to see how that affects the numbers. Previously there wasnt an expectation for a full lesson delivery. We worked to timetable so allowing students time to complete tasks was important.

Thanks all. On a side note if you hear of a good school looking for an English teacher (IB and British curriculum) and a primary teacher, please let me know. Can compare twitter recruitment ;)

Morning DIALECT friends. This week's word is 'very' as in 'very good'. In Yorkshire I would say 'reet' - '...it were reet good...'. Please tweet me your dialectic words for 'very' and where they are from. My thanks 👍❣️

What a day! What a half term! 😪 We’ve only got Friday - Wednesday off school, so I’m going to take a day or two to recover before beginning to tackle my ever-growing to-do list!

I’m trying to see how many places a “Merry Christmas” can come from. I’ll start. Merry Christmas from Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Your turn.

@SenecaLearn I'd add combining accounts for when students lose log ins and set up with a new account

Anyone have an example of a literature scheme with interleaved language or writing at gcse that they would be willing to share? Would just like to see a medium term plan that does this @Team_English1
