3/ In witness statements to the High Court, ‘Jeremy Friedlander’ said that he had been introduced to #LCF crew-mate ‘Simon Hume-Kendall’ & #LCF major borrower #LOG back in 2016 and acted as a consultant to #LOG and consultant &/or director to other #LCF borrower linked companies incl. those linked to the infamous #Lakeview Country Club ‘respins’.

44/ + pivoting their fledgling “Sales Aid Finance” op in to what would become #LCF. As the “battle of the Lakeview timeshares” raged on between the #LCF crew (who now controlled Lakeview) + the timeshare management committee (timeshare freehold in a trust), the chairman …

1/ #LCF mini-bond Ponzi: #BussMurton law-firm partner ‘Alex Lee’ fined £30k (+£50k costs) over role as director of ‘bond trustee’ setup to purportedly protect the interest of #LCF bondholders, despite the "obvious" conflict of interest [his client was #LCF & it’s front-man ‘Andy Thompson’] When acting for #LCF, ‘Andy Thomson’ was Alex Lee’s main point of contact and the solicitor knew that ‘Andy Thomson’ had some form of "residual interest" in #LCF borrowers. Reportedly: ● ‘Alex Lee’ took on the job of director of Global Security Trustees Ltd. (#GST) at the end of March 2018 - a position that required him to act as security trustee protecting the interests of #LCF’s bondholders. This was despite the fact that he was said to have had a longstanding and continuing professional relationship with #LCF; ● The #SDT said that a number of significant "red flags" arose during the months that followed Alex Lee's appointment, including a £30m loan that #LCF had made to London Oil and Gas Ltd. (#LOG), which turned out to be the largest borrower in the fraudulent scheme. But ‘Alex Lee’ continued to act for the company; ● "The tribunal considered that the prolonged continuation of Alex Lee's dual roles, including during periods when concerns arose regarding security assets and regulatory intervention damaged public confidence," the judgment says; ● "The fact that a solicitor remained embedded in a conflicted position as matters deteriorated increased the harm caused to the reputation of the profession. Further, the harm caused was wholly foreseeable"; ● The #SDT ruled that ‘Alex Lee’ had acted with a lack of integrity and caused harm to the reputation of the profession.

1/ #LCF mini-bond scandal: Inside Britain's biggest Ponzi scheme: where did £237m go? (thetimes.com/article/859cac…). Airbrushed from history now, back in 2019 the UK public were in the midst of ‘mini-bond mayhem’: blind eyed regulators/auditors/insolvency practitioners & solicitors; #HMTreasury apparatchiks barely out of their nappies & rapacious retail banks & Emoney ops - the ‘usual suspects’ , powered by social media, ran wild … yet again. It was yet another ‘golden age’ for the ‘usual suspects’ to yet again separate hard working people from their pensions & life savings … and the toddlers from #HMTreasury, Blinky (@theFCA) & it’s equally blind eyed regulator (@TPRgovuk) were tickety-boo with that. But the #LCF mini-bond scandal was too big for the apparatchiks to cover up this time, despite several ‘so called Tory’ politicians said to be rather chummy with the ‘#LCF crew’. It would come to a crescendo in public several years later in a public enquiry led by Dame Gloster, the first female judge of the Commercial Court, exposing the rotten heart of Blinky (@theFCA), and batting aside attempts to water down her enquiry’s findings. A multi-year campaign for compensation by the #LCF victims group would finally succeed, then came civil cases against the #LCF crew with crowdfunded transcription made public (exposing the dark underbelly & wider web) and they now await the outcome of the criminal investigations by the @UKSFO, trundling along.

WATCHDOG BACKS WRONG FIRM Britain’s financial watchdog @TheFCA has once again demonstrated the reflexes of a dead houseplant. Complaints Commissioner says FCA ignored warnings, missed red flags, shut inquiries, then helped give @AmymaInvest the respectable little badge it needed to keep selling mini-bond misery to vulnerable investors. In other words, the regulator saw smoke, filed the paperwork, then handed the arsonist a lanyard. This is all painfully familiar. We already had London Capital & Finance, where FCA approval acted like a fake Michelin star for financial sludge. Now we learn Amyma got the same halo effect, despite tipoffs going back to 2016. Investigations were opened, closed, reopened, closed again, with the sort of urgency usually reserved for lost umbrellas. By the time anyone managed to join the dots, ordinary investors were left holding the ashes. FCA says stepping back was standard practice. Of course it was. In Britain, “standard practice” is often just the ceremonial rebranding of failure. Source: Compliance Corylated, March 19, 2026
