@LincolnCity_FC club record Football League unbeaten run continued on Saturday and a couple of trivial milestones were also reached. Another club "record" was also set although hopefully that will be reviewed and Reeco Hackett gets credited with the goal.

On a day @LincolnCity_FC set a new club record (20) for Football League matches without defeat, Conor McGrandles made his 150 FL start for the Imps and a substitute scored for the 13th (equalling the club record) time a further record may have been set

Getting in at 3am and going to work later wasn't one of my better ideas but the 3 points for @LincolnCity_FC
helped. George Wickens joined a select group of Imps Football League goalkeepers with his (helped by the other players of course) clean sheet.

@LincolnCity_FC have usually been regarded as having one of the best pitches in the Football League. In 1945 it was reported Sincil Bank has one one of the finest pitches in the country although under a certain ex manager during the 1990's that may not have been so!

February 4th 2026 sees the end of Clive Nates outstanding reign as chairman of @LincolnCity_FC as he hands over to Ron Fowler. It wasn't known at the time but back in 1961 Feb 4th also saw the end of an era for a Lincoln City playing legend.

Rather enjoyable evening at Sincil Bank on Tuesday with the attendance the largest for a regular season Football League midweek evening kick off since April 1976. That season turned out rather well for @LincolnCity_FC !
