@chrisuggen @SocCrimeLawDev Thanks for the shout out :-) I am hardly ever on twitter. When you have incredibly smart and thoughtful advisees, they are east to work with and see them shine. It is also humbling to be acknowledged along great mentors like Ruth, Laurie, John, Claire, Lalo, and yourself!

I don't usually call out awards, but Anthony Peguero @LCProf2 really earned this year's @SocCrimeLawDev Peterson-Krivo mentoring award. I especially appreciate his work with latcrim.org, the Racial Democracy Crime and Justice Network, and his support of my advisees.

Dr. Anthony Peguero gave a great presentation today about #Latinx #Criminology, and I could definitely relate to the experiences he shared
