Linn County Public Health is hiring for our Harm Reduction Coordinator position. The Harm Reduction Coordinator coordinates of activities related to the public health epidemic involving substance use disorder, as well as infectious disease & other harms associated with drug use.

Funding for these vending machines is from the Opioid Settlement Fund, which were awarded to the program by the Linn County Board of Supervisors. The Substance Misuse Committee of Linn County is managing the program.

Partners across Linn County have been working together to bring Naloxone vending machines to our community. The Substance Misuse Committee of Linn County has implemented seven vending machines with nasal spray Naloxone and other supplies, like condoms and wound care kits.

Linn County Public Health will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. We will resume normal business hours on Thursday, June 20.
