2025 Seniors started a new tradition: the Senior Sunrise where they gather on our football field to watch a sunrise over the hills @ the start of the year. LHS Principal Van Dervoort was all for it & joined participating seniors for the 1st ever LHS Senior Sunrise last Saturday!

One of our favorite 1st day of school traditions here in 'Burgh is when Rensselaer Park Elementary faculty decorate the school's sidewalks to welcome back students! Thank you to all the RPES faculty artists who contributed to this year's welcome back sidewalk chalk art!

Our 5th Annual Burgh Summer U was a HUGE success! Over 75 of our teachers attended the PD event & had a blast exploring the various workshops covering innovative teaching methods & cutting-edge tech tools! Special shout out to @gfusco77 & @ms_lgibson for their hard work on it!

Today we welcomed Lansingburgh CSD's newest team members @ our New Faculty/Staff Orientation! Remarks from Superintendent Dr. Antonio Abitabile & Assistant Superintendent Rebecca McGrouty kicked off the day, followed by a school bus tour of 'Burgh.
