Also this past week the men’s team went up to Pennsylvania to play in the USCAA National Championship at Penn State University Blue Course. They shot team scores of 301-296 to win Lyon College their FIRST GOLF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The Women got 7th out of 9 teams on the week. It was a great fall season for Lyon Golf. Lots of personal bests and much improvement across both programs! Looking forward to a good off season and ready for the spring! #GoScotsGo

Last week we played our last event for the fall season at the FHU Fall Invitational in Henderson, TN. It was a tough course and tough conditions, but overall it was a solid week for Lyon Golf. The Men’s team finished 5th out of 10 teams. Ryan Kriz also got 3rd on the Men’s side.

Individually, Ryan Kriz, Manav Perfecto, Jackson Baughman, and Tyler Doucet earned First Team All American honors. Beau Perry earned Second Team All American honors. All Academic honors were granted to Tyler Doucet and Wes Lange.

Individually Emma, Jesi, and Zoe all set college PR’s and Sydney tied her best score of her career. Sydney, finishing inside the top 10, earned 2nd Team All Conference Honors, made the All-Sportsmanship Team, and earned player of the week for the week of September 25th.

A lot has happened this past week for Lyon Golf. The girls spent the weekend in Metamora, IL at Metamora Fields for the SLIAC Conference Championship event. After three rounds the girls finished in 6th place as a team. A strong showing for a brand new team to the conference.

The 2023 USCAA Men’s Golf National Champions returned to campus today to a warm welcome. Super proud of Coach Rehorn and team for all their hard work this fall! Go Scots!

The women finished 4th on the week with senior Sydney grabbing a top 10. The men finished 5th with freshmen Ryan Kriz and Jackson Baughman finishing inside the top 10. We greatly appreciated everyone coming out this week. All of the support was amazing to see. #GoScotsGo

Our second event of the year so far was our home event. The Scots Fall Invitation at The Course at Eagle Mountain. We had almost 90 players representing 9 different schools from all across the country competing in the event.

Senior Sydney Czanstkowski was also the individual winner with scores of 78-77! Senior Tyler Doucet finished in a tie for 3rd with scores of 72-75! #GoScotsGo

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for Lyon golf with back to back events. The first being our first event of the year at the WBU Fall Invite in Kennett, MO. It was a great event for the program as a whole. With the women finishing 2nd as a team and the men finishing 4th.

Highlights for the men: Luke Jackson (Sr) finished T-8. All the of the men's team earned All-Conference Academics. Brody Jeanes (Sr) set a new tournament round best for his career during round 2. Will Bolles (Sr) earned the Champion of Character award. (Part 4/4)

Highlights for the women: @SCzanstkowski (Jr) finished T-3, earned 1st Team All-Conference, All-Conference Academics, & the Champion of Character awards. Abigale Brantner (Jr) shot a new tournament round best on day 2 and finished with her lowest total for the year. (Pt. 3/4)
