Congratulations to Orion Browne, triple jump winner at USATF New England track meet at Harvard today. Orion qualifies for both Nike Indoor & New Balance Indoor Nationals; 4 of his 6 jumps today met nationals standards. Orion won today at 47’ 3 1/4”! @loomisathletics

Good luck to alum Matt Farrell (LC ‘20) as he competes in the NCAA Div I East Regionals Wednesday. Matt will represent Princeton in the 10,000 m; he has a season best of 29:21.17. The top performers will move on to the NCAA National Championships. @loomisathletics

Julian Sutton ‘24 and Anthony Ndika ‘24 finished better in the finals than in the prelims even though the rain made throwing the shot put tricky yesterday. Sutton finished 4th & Ndika 6th, earning them Division 1 All-NEPSTA honors! @LoomisAthletics

Sebastian Cohen ‘24 and Chidi Moemeka ‘26 finished 5-6 in the end of the 110 HH, both earning All-NEPSTA honors and valuable points for us yesterday! @loomisathletics

Junior Evan Gackstetter eventually out kicked his opponent on the last lap to ran 8:52.38 and place third in the 3000 at NE’s yesterday! The time makes him #3 all-time at Loomis! @loomisathletics

Behind by 4 before final relay, we needed our 4x400 representing nearly every part of LCTF (Sam - distance, Orion - jumps, Sebastian - hurdles, Quincy - sprints) to beat opponent by 2 places, & they raced to 2nd place 🥈 while opponent finished 4th! Team tied for 3rd overall!

Quincy Briggs ‘23 took second place 🥈 in both the 200 and 400 at the NEPSTA Championships, earning 16 of our 69 total points (well, he added 2 in the 4x400 also!) @LoomisAthletics

Sam Kurian ‘23 took second place 🥈 in the 800 at D1 New Englands today! After a blistering 53-second first lap, he held on to run 1:55.95! Sam finishes his career as #2 all time in the 800 at Loomis! @loomisathletics
